TARA HARRIS

Ms. Harris received a Bachelors of Science Degree in elementary education, a Masters Degree in elementary education and a Masters Degree in special education, all from Mississippi Valley State University. She has served as a literary coach in the special education department, and an elementary teacher and assistant principal at Bankston Elementary School. She is a lifelong educator with proven expertise in teaching, coaching, curriculum development, and supervision.

Claudine Brown Elementary is one of the six schools in the Greenwood Leflore County Consolidated School District. It is located approximately 2 miles south of Greenwood and 5 miles north of Sidon, MS on U. S. Route 49 E.  The school’s demographic population consists of African-Americans, Caucasians, and Hispanics. All students receive free / reduced lunch.
